Healing

Short-Term Counseling
This program of six to eight sessions with one of our
professional therapists helps victims understand and cope with the
difficult feelings, thoughts and reactions they experience. Counseling can
also help survivors recover a sense of safety and self-esteem —
things that can be easily lost by sexual assault or abuse.

We urge survivors to talk in confidence with a counselor,
regardless of whether the assault/abuse happened recently or long ago.
Counseling is also encouraged for loved ones to help them understand
their own reactions and how they can best help survivors.

We do not charge fees for any of our counseling.
